Kensington's Blue Bar

We conceived this bespoke blue bar, tucked into a Kensington townhouse, as a confident focal point for entertaining while carefully preserving the home’s period character.
We retained and celebrated the original cornices with a two toned colour approach, framing the scheme and providing a crisp architectural counterpoint to the contemporary joinery.
We introduced a curved, ribbed front counter in a rich blue tone to bring sculptural presence and soften the room’s geometry, finishing it with a honed soft white and grey marble top and a discreet brass plinth that adds warmth and definition.
We selected slender pendant drops with opaline globes to create a warm atmosphere.
