Kensington's Blue Bar

Tucked into a Kensington townhouse, this bespoke blue bar was conceived as a confident focal point for entertaining while carefully preserving the home’s period character. Original cornices were retained and celebrated with a two-toned colour approach, framing the scheme and providing a crisp architectural counterpoint to the contemporary joinery. A curved, ribbed-front counter in a rich blue tone brings sculptural presence and softens the room’s geometry, finished with a honed soft white and grey marble top and a discreet brass plinth that adds warmth and definition. Slender pendant drops with opaline globes create a warm atmosphere.
